About Nicky & Joan Wyndow Ministries
About
I was converted in February 1966 after responding to a gospel message at a Church I was attending in my home town of Brighton. Early on in my Christian life the Lord showed me that I had a teaching gift which gave me a lay preaching Ministry to the churches in the areas where I lived. Through the years I have been involved in pastoral care with a special emphasis on relationships. Through a study of the Word and the experience of being involved with people the Lord has given me insights into what causes people to behave the way they do. Over the years I have put together three areas of teaching to help people become the life givers God intends us to be to each other as we enter into various kinds of relationships. These have helped many to permanently overcome the bitterness and resentment that has opened the door to their flesh and develop attitudes that had held them back in their Christian development and effectiveness.
- Life Giving Marriage takes a fresh look at God’s intention for the relationship of men and women in general and marriage in particular. It concentrates on the first 3 chapters of Genesis to discover how God created men and women, husbands and wives to live in harmony that reflects the harmony of Father, Son and Holy Spirit and how the fall leads us to destroy that harmony.
- Life giving relationships looks at the devastating hurt so many experience when their relationships go wrong whether it is marriage, work, church or friends. Included is a teaching on how to make forgiveness our first response to someone elses offensive behavior rather than a reluctant last response.
- Life Giving Churches. There are so many Christians lost to the church because of their experience of getting involved in church life. Ephesians tells us that the church is a place where God lives and moves and has His being yet so often this life can be stifled by how we organize that it. Life Giving Churches offers a way to organize our programmes in a way that gives life to its participants.
I became associated with Andrew Wommack Ministries when he was first brought to the UK by Will Graham. Andrew’s message of grace liberated me from my evangelical background and brought my relationship with Jesus to a new level. When Andrew set up an office here in the UK Joan, my wife, and I became part of the group of volunteers who helped the ministry in many administrative ways, especially at the UK conferences. Eventually both of us worked for the ministry full time after the office moved to Coventry and then Bloxwich. I was involved in graphics and helpline. When CBC came to Coventry Tom Wickle, who was the principle at that time, was looking for local teachers to give some ‘live’ lectures to supplement the video teaching. I submitted some of my messages and they were accepted. I have given various series of lectures to the students, usually 2nd or 3rd year’s, over the years of my association with the college.
